Sa Re Ga Ma Pa grooms singers to be so adept at vocalising various kinds of songs that they become capable of being hired by any composer across the nation. Indian Idol is the hunt for a glamorous pop icon who will be a solo artist, someone who releases their own albums. ‘Indian Idol’ is literally about finding an ‘idol’ whereas ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ is purely about music
